Vicino was founded in Beijing in 2001. Its predecessor is the OLED project team of Tsinghua University, which was founded in 1996. Today, it has become a high-tech enterprise integrating independent research and development, large-scale production and market sales. It is the first and only company in mainland China that has large-scale OLED production line and can mass produce OLED products. Vicino has a group of professional talents from R & D, production, marketing and management background, master OLED display and module production technology, and establish a wide range of upstream and downstream industrial chain relations.

Vicino built the first domestic OLED pilot production line in 2002, completed the integration of OLED production technology in 2003, and realized the small-scale production and sales of OLED screens and modules.
